Our fee is $50/hr. Why?
- Mediators aren’t lawyers. A neutral mediator is prohibited from interpreting or applying law for either party pertinent to the mediation and this should be reflected in the rate.
- While we cannot provide services for free, we can provide reasonable pricing.
- Your situation is hard enough as it is.
- You may need additional funds for further or future legal actions relating to the dispute.
Mediation via Video Conference:
- There is a one-time non-refundable administration fee of $50 to initiate mediation.
- One half day conference is $200, which includes all preparation, pre-mediation conference calls (if required), and a four-hour, same day mediation session.
- One full day conference is $400, which includes all preparation, pre-mediation conference calls (if requested) and an eight-hour same day mediation session.
- Mediations which exceed the stated maximum hours are billed at $50 per hour.
* the mediator is unlikely to be available for additional hours for half day mediations.

A total minimum deposit of $200 (half day) and $400 (full day) is required 14 days in advance of mediation. Fees incurred in excess of the deposit shall be billed following the mediation.
Fee Split Between Parties:
All mediation fees (and deposits) are shared equally between the parties unless otherwise confirmed in writing.
Cancellation/Rescheduling:
- No charge if the mediation is canceled with 14 days advanced notice or rescheduled to another date. If the mediation is canceled within 14 days prior to the scheduled date (and not rescheduled) there is a $100 cancellation fee for half day and $200 cancellation fee for full day to be paid by the party or parties responsible for the cancellation.
- Please note that for any cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice (1 business day) payment of full fee is required.
